Skynotch Energy Africa is an energy solution provider to off-grid markets. They identify a need for energy in areas without electricity or not expecting electricity connectivity in the next five years and work with local businesses, non-profit organizations and development agencies that are able to provide clean lighting, productive use of energy or value addition.
Skynotch goes beyond delivering technology to provide total solutions to the market through information, Incentives, investment and implementation support.. They offer linkages to financing to enable customers afford the high upfront cost of solar products, create last mile enterprises to reduce the distance between service providers and end users.
Patrick is in charge of strategy development and Skynotch policy development. His roles include resource mobilization, partnership development and project identification and development. Patrick has extensive experience in renewable energy development with training in entrepreneurship and solar energy application and management. He has been involved in various renewable energy funding negotiations and partnership development at the donor and multilateral level.
Faith is in charge of Skynotch’s operations and manages staff and activities. She also oversees customer service and entrepreneurs support. Faith brings a wealth of experience in project-based administration having worked with the World Bank and the African Development Bank.
Skynotch has a well experienced team in various relevant skill including, project development, resource mobilization, systems design and installation and logistics and administration. The team is led by a CEO who is a passionate social entrepreneur and has expertise in project development and management, resource mobilization and partnership development. The technical unit is managed by a seasoned electrical and electronics engineer with a wealth of experience in renewable energy systems design and installation. Their administrator has international experience in project management.
